This pioneering initiative will improve access to finance over the next five years, contributing to scale up digital financial solutions and piloting insurance to 500,000 low-income farmers, including women, youth entrepreneurs.

The capital will be used in funding expansion to new geographies and existing ones along with new product lines.

The association, known as the Congolese Fintech Network, will seek to enhance access to investment opportunities and promote information sharing in Congo, with a goal to accelerate financial inclusion.

The idea was launched in collaboration with RemitPlus, which has been championing offline banking in Nigeria.
