Supporting Managers in Their HRD Role

One of the priority topics for financial service providers that emerged from last year’s survey on human resource development practices, was how to help managers across hierarchies and functional areas in financial institutions recruit, support, and mentor their staff – in short HR guidance for managers outside the HR department.

During the webinar, Patricia Richter of the ILO’s Social Finance Program will summarize key actions emerging from last year’s survey based on input from 195 financial service providers globally. Then senior managers from VisionFund (Bolivia), Al Majmoua (Lebanon) and ASKI (Philippines) will share their HR practices and lessons learned from successfully developing a strong in-house system of HR practices into their staff management processes.
