Digital financial services providers that open application programming interfaces (APIs) must find effective ways to engage the third parties who will ultimately use APIs to develop innovative financial and non-financial services. This slide deck compiles lessons from CGAP’s research on how providers’ operational teams can engage third parties. It explains the differing needs of third parties across segments and introduces different engagement strategies and activities to meet those needs.
