A Survey of Microenterprise in Urban French West Africa
Identifying key factors shaping the microenterprise sector in West Africa
The focus of this paper is on microenterprise. More specifically, this study seeks to identify the nature and structure of the microenterprise environment (or informal economy) in urban French West Africa (FWA), the characteristics of microentrepreneurs and microenterprises, as well as their key success factors, limitations and other issues impeding their growth and success.
