Russia: Federal Law on State Support for Small Business in the Russian Federation

This document presents the Russian Federal Law containing articles aimed to establish the constitutional right of citizens to freely use their capabilities and property in business and other economic activity in ways not prohibited by law.

The Federal Law:

• Defines the general provisions in the sphere of state support and the development of small businesses in the Russian Federation;
• Establishes the forms and methods of state stimulation and regulation of the subjects of small business.

The documents states that the present Federal Law shall operate throughout the territory of the Russian Federation, regardless of the subject matter and aims of the activity, In respect of:

• All the subjects of small business;
• Organizational structure;
• Legal status;
• Forms of property.
