More than 40 percent of the loan amount was allocated to energy efficient housing projects, i.e. purchase of new energy efficient apartments, as well as individual house constructions and renovations.

The loan is intended to boost its services to micro-, small, and medium-sized enterprises – especially in rural areas – to “improve financial inclusion and contribute to Kazakhstan’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.”

This loan is ADB's first intervention in Kazakhstan's financial sector in several years. It will support KMF's efforts to improve financial inclusion and contribute to Kazakhstan's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Attracted financial means will be directed towards the development of micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Armenia.

Nova Credit is on a mission to accelerate financial inclusion for millions of creditworthy individuals who immigrate to new countries every year.

A senior loan of EUR 5 million will be on-lent by the bank to businesses that want to implement energy efficiency and resource efficiency measures, as well as small scale renewable energy projects. 

The project allows for financing of various loan purposes, for example purchase of housing from primary and secondary markets, renovation, and single-family house construction.

The two countries are looking towards financial sector digitalization. A conference slated for June in Zurich seeks to do just that. 

The joint project will contribute to the improvement of refugees' financial inclusion in Europe, in particular access to microfinance and business development services.

This new office in Yerevan, Armenia aims to strengthen Symbiotics' long-standing presence in the region and further support its growth.
