The livestock value chain study contains detailed analysis of the livestock value chain in Uganda, focusing on dairy, beef cattle, and poultry sub-sectors. It contains information on the key actors involved, as well as the challenges, issues, and opportunities for financing. Following the analysis of the value chains, the study recommends specific value chain lending products and strategies. The study can be used by financial institutions and other agriculture finance professionals interested in financing livestock value chains in Uganda.
