AGENDA AND SPEAKERS

EVENT BACKGROUND

#FinEquity2024 focused on how to implement climate-smart solutions that work for women, how to measure the economic empowerment and resilience gained by women through financial inclusion, and how to mobilize gender lens investing for women-led MSMEs in agriculture, food systems and other sectors.

The member-led sessions offered participants the opportunity to learn, and continue to build a common understanding on challenges, experiences, and best practices on using financial services to advance gender equality in the face of climate change. We also hope this served as the beginning of a conversation with the community about how we can advance our collective efforts.

FinEquity is convened by CGAP, a global partnership of more than 30 leading development organizations that works to advance the lives of poor people, especially women, through financial inclusion.
