Mapping Gender Data Gaps in the Environment and Climate Change: A 2023 Update 

In this report, Data2X update their 2019 assessment to highlight where progress has been made toward filling gender and environment data gaps, what new data gaps have emerged as new issues have assumed greater attention or importance, and where key sources of gender and environment data can be found. The gender data gaps presented within the report explore different aspects of the environment and climate change, including: access to and control over environmental resources; responses to climate change; and the gendered impacts of climate change.

The Impact of Financial Inclusion on Young Women’s Well-Being, A Survey of Evidence and Recommendations for Practitioners

Of the nearly 600 million young women ages 15-24 in the world today, approximately 520 million live in developing economies. Their access to financial services diverges markedly from young men’s around the age of majority, and this gender gap persists across age. This new CGAP working paper, shares how funders, financial service providers, and policy makers can better support young women at this critical stage of life.
