NBC Mozambique

Mozambique faces high levels of financial exclusion, particularly among the two thirds of the population living in rural areas. Access to insurance is low along with awareness and knowledge about it. NBC Mozambique was founded in 2014 and is currently the only licensed microinsurer in Mozambique.

This Case Brief showcases the partnership between International Labour Organization - Social Finance and NBC Mozambique through which partnerships  were identified and secured to distribute microinsurance in the country.
