Sustainable Microfinance in Lebanon

The webinar series "Sustainable Microfinance in the MENA Region" is designed to foster discussions on key trends, challenges, and strategies for advancing sustainable microfinance in the region. Since September 2023, the sessions have explored country-specific findings from the 2022 study "Sustainable Finance in the MENA Region" conducted by HEDERA Sustainable Solutions with financial support from the SANAD Technical Assistance Facility. These discussions have highlighted relevant local experiences, best practices, and stakeholder knowledge exchanges.

This webinar will feature the participation of microfinance institutions Al Majmoua, Ibda’a Microfinance, and Makhzoumi Foundation, who will discuss their innovations and strategies for overcoming challenges in a challenging environment to enhance their clients’ resilience. The session is co-organized by the Lebanese Microfinance Association, with SANAD TAF and HEDERA Sustainable Solutions as co-hosts.
