Audit Discussion Group (Archived)

Beginning in April 2001, the Microfinance Gateway's Audit Discussion Group provided a forum for evaluating the external audit process from the perspective of a variety of stakeholders, including MFI board members and managers, donors, and auditors. Participants were invited to share their audit experiences, both positive and negative, and to engage in a discussion of the audit process and good practices, as well as accounting issues and relevant new tools and publications. In over 200 posts, more than 60 participants shared their experiences and views and engaged in an active dialogue on the external audit process.
