Submit Nominations for the AGFUND Prize Targeting "NO Poverty" by 30 November

The Arab Gulf Development Programme for Development (AGFUND) announced that 30 November 2018 is the deadline for receiving nominations for AGFUND International Prize targeting the first goal of SDGs 2030 "Eradicating poverty in all its forms everywhere".

AGFUND called on UN, international, and regional organizations, national NGOs, ministries and public institutions, social business enterprises, individuals and all development actors around the world to accelerate the nomination of projects eligible for the AGFUND International Prize 2018 before the deadline.

The amount of AGFUND Prize is $1,000,000, divided into four categories:

  • First category prize ($400,000) is specified for projects implemented by UN agencies or international and regional NGOs.
  • Second category prize ($300,000) is specified for projects implemented by national NGOs.
  • Third category prize ($200,000) is specified for projects implemented by governmental bodies (ministries and public institutions) or social business enterprises.
  • Fourth category prize ($100,000) is specified for projects initiated, funded and/or implemented by individuals.
