CGAP Appoints New CEO
The Consultative Group to Assist the Poor announced yesterday that Sophie Sirtaine has been selected as its new CEO after an extensive international search process.
Ms. Sirtaine will commence as CEO on 16 January 2022 and her top three priorities will be to (i) lead the development and implementation of CGAP’s next five-year strategy; (ii) deepen relationships with CGAP’s members in the donor community and increase synergies with units across the World Bank Group to drive lasting impact for poor and excluded people; and (iii) ensure that CGAP’s work continues to have impact globally by incorporating influence model insights from the strategic evaluation that is almost completed.
