Call for Applications: LAC Countries Promoting Income Generation for Financially Excluded People

Whole Planet Foundation has just launched a Call for Applications for organizations in Latin America or the Caribbean that work to help financially excluded people generate income. The organization is looking to enter in up to eight new partnerships in 2024, including with socially-focused microfinance institutions, social enterprises, nonprofit organizations, and cooperatives. Whole Planet Foundation's financial support is provided through grants and 0 percent interest, local currency loans. Preference will be given to organizations serving rural and financially vulnerable smallholder farmers, with access to less than three hectares, living near the poverty line.

Whole Planet has a special interest in identifying partnerships in Brazil, Panama, Guatemala, Jamaica, French Guyana, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador.
