Video Highlights From the X Central American and Caribbean Microfinance Conference

The Central American and Caribbean Microfinance Network (REDCAMIF) and the Guatemalan Microfinance Institution Network (REDIMIF) organized the X Central American and Caribbean Microfinance Conference, with the theme: “Resilience and Reactivation of Inclusive Finance Facing a New Reality: The Reunion," in Antigua Guatemala from 20 to 22 March 2023.

Portal FinDev participated as a strategic content partner for this conference, which marked the return to in-person events in the region after three years of pandemic. We helped build the agenda, proposed key topics to discuss during the learning sessions and suggested high profile panelists for the sector. Alongside more than 850 financial inclusion professionals, we attended various conference sessions where the themes of resilience and reactivation of inclusive finance in post-pandemic times were explored, examining the sector's role in the construction of a sustainable future for Central America and the Caribbean, with a focus on digital transformation, innovation, green microfinance and gender.

We conducted 12 video interviews with conference speakers, aiming to capture some of their key takeaways and insights from the event. You can view the complete list of interviews or explore the six which we have highlighted below.
