Video Highlights From the European Microfinance Week 2023: Shaping the Future of Inclusive Finance

European Microfinance Week, a flagship event hosted by e-MFP, serves as an important forum for global inclusive finance professionals. With 659 attendees from 61 countries and 231 joining virtually, this year’s edition featured over 40 dynamic sessions, including plenaries and workshops, addressing key themes such as climate change, gender equity and financial inclusion for forcibly displaced persons.

Yikri, a Burkina Faso-based microfinance institution, was honored with the European Microfinance Award 2023 in recognition of its efforts in enhancing food security and nutrition among its clients.

The FinDev Gateway team conducted interviews with conference speakers to glean their key insights from selected sessions.
